My name is Tyrone Campbell, and I am the owner of the GoTaxx Pro network. I began my tax journey in the 1990s when tax returns were prepared by hand, using booklets picked up from the post office. Over the years, I was a self-preparer who struggled to understand how to maximize my return. I often felt frustrated by the numerous questions posed by tax software and would simply click "YES" to continue the process, just to get it done quickly.

In 2010, I got married and failed to file my returns for previous years, which resulted in an audit. This experience taught me the importance of staying compliant with the IRS and filing my taxes on time each year. I also learned valuable lessons in record-keeping. My failure to file was partly due to a corrupted QuickBooks file, which forced me to recreate financial reports for my business.

In 2022, I discovered an opportunity to become a professional tax preparer, so I took a course and obtained my credentials. Before that year, my joint tax return yielded a refund of $3,500. After becoming a professional, we received over $10,000 in refunds. I decided to help other preparers who faced tax issues, which led me to start my community of preparers.

Today, we serve thousands of clients and are on track to open 1,000 virtual tax offices.
